OUR FOUNDER, ANNA

For many years, a love of colour and trend inspired Anna to produce creative and saleable designs for well known British and international brands.

In 2018, increasingly aware of the environmental impact of the retail industry, she retreated to her home on the south coast to consider how she might utilise her creative design skills in a more socially responsible and ecologically conscious way.

With a love of print design and packaging detail, she began to consider the gift market and her own experiences of coordinating beautifully designed multiple product gift boxes for friends and family.

In 2021 Ciconia Organics was born and a first collection of limited-edition printed organic clothing was launched across a range of keepsake baby gift boxes.

The complete gift - special, natural, luxurious.

WHAT’S IN OUR NAME?

Ciconia is a genus of birds in the stork family, long associated with folklore and legend. To some Ciconia means ‘merciful’ or ‘kind’, to others it is a representation of ‘parental devotion’. To us Ciconia is all of these things.
