OUR ETHOS

It is important to Ciconia that we play our part in reducing the negative outcomes of consumption, whilst championing positive ones like beautiful, innovative design. Sustainability runs through everything we do from the materials and suppliers we work with, through to the fair-trade, organic coffee we drink in our design studio!

NATURAL

The organic fibres used in our manufacturing processes are grown without using harmful chemicals and allergens. Printing is digital to eliminate high consumption of water and discharge of environmentally toxic pollutants, protecting the bio-diversity of complex ecosystems. The resulting product is better for all, as well as softer and kinder to delicate skin.

ETHICAL

We are steadfastly dedicated to ethical production values. Our organic cotton clothing is manufactured at a SMETA* and GOTS* certified facility in Europe, dedicated to environmentally friendly production and the highest standards of fabrication. Carefully curated accessories are responsibly sourced and made from sustainable, organic and recycled materials.

RECYCLABLE

Our stationery comes from recognised UK paper merchants who source from well-managed, sustainable forests. Stickers (vegan product) are made from 100% post consumer recycled waste paper and are fully biodegradable. Swing tags are produced on natural card with soft string ties. Tissue paper (vegan product) is made from recycled pulp fibres, acid fee and fully recyclable. Even our mailers are 100% recycled, plastic free and fully recyclable.
